Resolution

An individual is charged with a non-violent, drug-related crime(s).

The District Attorney's office in Wilson County, TN sends eligible participants to the PIC Center for an assessment.

PIC Center staff performs an assessment and recommends a level of care, referring the individual to a treatment provider.

PIC Center staff collects progress reports from the treatment center and the individual over 6-12 months.

At the time of the individual's court case, the DA's office may consider dropping the individual's charges based on their participation in treatment.
